Active Kids Get Talking was developed in partnership with School
Councils UK
School Councils UK believes every school should have an effective school
council. Effective school councils involve the whole school community
in improving their school. They ensure every pupil has the ability to
be a part of decision-making and positive action in her or his school.
To support schools to achieve this, School Councils UK provides training, resources
and a Network for sharing good practice. School Council UK is also working
on establishing a national standard for school councils and participation in
schools.
